Mathew P. Cabral, 75, of Fall River, passed away Saturday unexpectedly. Husband of Arlene M. Cabral. Born in Fall River, son of the late Mathew P. and Helen (Rego) Cabral. A member of Roofers Local Union #33 for 45 years. He worked mostly for Universal Roofing in New Bedford. He also owned AMCMPC Collectables on Rte. 177 in Tiverton. Loving father of Mathew J. Cabral (wife-Karen) and Loreen L. Gaspar (husband-Louie); grandfather of Kyla E., Jessica A. and Kassondra L. Cabral and Louis Mathew Gaspar; brother of Anna Arruda, Helen Carreiro, Lena Miranda, Lucille Raposa, Mary DeSouto and the late Olivia Oliveira and Joseph Cabral; nephew of Eliza Rego. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, June 15, at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Cremation followed.
