Maurice Lamothe, 91, of Tiverton, RI, husband of the late Mary Lamothe, passed away at home on May 16, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Wilfred O. Lamothe and the late Marie U. (St. Pierre) Lamothe.

Maurice enjoyed building things—cars, planes, boats and even built his own house. Most notably Maurice cherished the time he spent with his family.

He leaves his children, Roger Lamothe (late wife Denise), of Fall River, Michael Lamothe and his wife Elizabeth (Lisa) Medeiros, of Fall River, Rochelle Lamothe, of Tiverton, RI, Denise Sherwin and her husband John, of Gasper, WY,; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Lamothe, of Acushnet; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita Rego, of Fall River and Jeanne Fredrick, of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Maurice was predeceased by his son Donald Lamothe and four siblings.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the care of Silva-Faria Funeral Homes.
