Michael S. Freitas, 84, of Fall River, former husband of Jeannine (Remy) Freitas and long-time "Sweetheart", Andrea Levinson, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Michael Freitas and the late Marie G. (Carvalho) Freitas.

Prior to his retirement, he was the owner and manager of Freitas Realty for many years. A United States Army Veteran, he bravely served his Country during the Korean conflict. Michael enjoyed trips to the casino, dining out, and, most importantly, spending quality time with his family. He was also the co-founding director St. Anne's Fellowship, a program of which he was particularly proud.

Besides his sweetheart of eighteen years, he leaves his loving children, Jeffrey Freitas and his wife, Sherri, of New Jersey, and Karen Freitas and her partner, Kaylee Murphy, of Boston; his four grandchildren, Lauren Sousa, Mikayla Ferreira, Alyssa J. Cori, and Addison M. Freitas; three great-grandchildren, Christian Ferreira, Scarlet Ferreira, and Maverick J. Sousa; Andrea's daughter, Lori Danella; one sister, Deborah Golz and her husband, Robert, of Swansea; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Gloria Rutigliano and the late Carol Guimond.

Following a private cremation, His Cremains were buried in a family lot at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
