Michael L. Oliveira, 48, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center after a brief illness.

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was the son of Maria D. (DaCosta) Oliveira and the late Luis M. Oliveira.

Prior to his illness, he was a machine operator for P.J. Keating Local 4 for many years. A diehard Harley Davidson fan, Michael also loved his classic muscle cars, owning many models over the years. He had a sweet tooth especially for Skittles and Sour Patch Gummies. Most importantly, Michael was a very hard-worker and an awesome father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who would give the shirt off his back for anyone.

Besides his mother, he leaves: his loving daughter, Thea Jade Alves and her husband, Hector Alves, of Fall River; a grandson, Landan Alves; his sister, Laura M. Carpentier and her husband, Thomas E., of Dartmouth; his niece, Sydney Carpentier; nephew, Ethan Carpentier; and his fiance, Paulina Corga.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, June 22nd, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
