Obituary

Michael A.  Pimental, 64, of Fall River, husband of Karen (Henry)  Pimental, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2020 at Newton Wellesley Care Center for Alzheimer's after a long illness.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he was a son of the late Eugene and Anita (Pelletier) Pimental.

Prior to his illness he successfully owned and operated East West Trucking for over twenty years. A United States Airforce Veteran, Michael proudly served our Country during the Vietnam era. He was also a graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Tech High School and Rhode Island Police Academy (1982). An avid Patriots and Red Sox fan, Michael also loved fishing, shooting pool, and had an affection for animals, especially dogs. But what was most important to him was spending quality time with his loving family.

Besides his loving wife, he leaves: his children, Michelle Pimental, Michael A. Pimental, Jr. and his wife, Wendy, and Brandon Pimental, all of Fall River; his step-children, Chayne Williamson and Joshua Ryan Williamson, both of Fall River, and Justin Williamson and his wife, Joy, of Somerset; four grandchildren, Makayla Pimental, McKenna Ayala, Layla Pimental, and Logan Williamson; his sister, Judy Pimental of Fall River; his brother, Eugene Pimental of Martha's Vinyard; and many nieces and nephews. His was also the brother of the late William Pelletier.

Following Michael's public visitation period, a private funeral service was held on Friday, August 7th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by his committal with military honors at Notre Dame Cemetery.
