Michael P. Raposo, 87, of Fall River, passed away Monday after a long illness. Loving husband of Noema (Medeiros) Raposo to whom he was married for 62 years. Born in Fall River, son of the late Antonio and Evangelina Raposo. A Navy veteran of WWII, Mike served on the Fall River Police Department for 31 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the "Over the Hill" gang. Beloved father of Beverly Belanger (husband-Kenneth) of Austin, TX; grandfather of Kellan Belanger; brother of the late Irene Coroa. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated by his godson, Fr. John Perry, on Friday, June 26th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal with military honors at Oak Grove Cemetery.
