Michael Troy Ray, 47, of Fall River, longtime companion of Kellie Pearson, passed away on June 10, 2017. Born in Newport, Rhode Island, he was the son of Brenda (Pack) Glover and the late Wellington Ray. Michael had a great sense of humor and was truly a loving person who would help anyone. An amazing cook, he also enjoyed writing poetry and keeping himself in exceptionally good shape. He also had a very strong affection for all types of animals. A star athlete, he played football for the Randolph Oilers and the Middleboro Cobras. Besides his companion of 24 years, he leaves a daughter, Chellsie Lynn Pearson of Fall River; two brothers: Billy Ray and Carl Jones, II; three sisters: Darlene Baker, Nadene Baker, and Robin Ray Eller; and many nieces and nephews. Following his cremation, His Memorial Mass was celebrated on Friday, June 23rd, in Holy Trinity Parish Church.
