Fall River

Obituary

Michael Scott Sheahan, 51, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. He was the husband of Carrie Ann Wilkins-Sheahan and former husband of Liliana Sheahan.

Born in Fall River and raised in Westport, son of Sandra Ann (Dillworth) Rebello of Fall River and the late Daniel E. Sheahan, he was a Westport High School graduate and a former resident of Swansea.

A custom boat builder with New England Boatworks for 25+ years, he had also enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with family. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and the best cook. His ultimate favorite thing was being a dad.

Besides his wife, and mother, he is survived by: two daughters, Kendal Ann Sheahan and Tyla Elizabeth Sheahan both of Fall River, and stepdaughter, Alexandria Rose Wilkins of Swansea; two brothers, Daniel Vincent Sheahan of Assonet and Christopher Paul Braz of Manchester, N.H.; four nephews, Aaron Jacob Sheahan, Logan Alexander Braz, Kaden Michael Braz, and Kyle Joseph Costa; and one niece, Jailyn Isabella Costa. He was also an uncle of the late Drew Daniel Sheahan.

Private cremation arrangements were under the care of Silva-Faria Funeral Home, with a Memorial Mass followed by a Celebration of Life to be planned by the family for a later date.

Because of the pandemic, all are kindly urged to express sympathy online or by mail. To ensure that the family receives any online condolences you may wish to submit, please do so only at the funeral home's website [at "Sign Guestbook" or "Send Sympathy Card" above]. Thank you!
