Michael Tamborella, 91, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Tuesday at home. Husband of Natalie Tamborella. Born in Fall River, son of the late Ernest and Mary (Gattozzi) Tamborella. An army veteran of WWII, he participated in the Battle of the Bulge. Mike was a furniture refinisher, retiring from Newport Furniture Co. He was a member of Montaup Country Club for many years. Beloved father of Cynthia Ferreira (husband-Manuel) and Lisa Chouinard (husband-Ronald); brother of the late Ernest and John Tamborella. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, June 14, in Holy Trinity Parish Church followed by his committal with military honors at the Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
