Michael T. "Mike" Wallace, age 39, of Swansea, Massachusetts, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2007, following a brief illness. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Joanne (Raposa) Kazen of Swansea and the stepson of the late Gilbert "Gibby" Kazen. In addition to his mother he leaves two sisters, Kim (Wallace) Carreiro of Fall River and Dawn Wallace & fiancé Rick Paquin, of Swansea. He also leaves a nephew Frankie Carreiro, a niece Stacy (Carreiro) Cruz (her husband Luis), great nephew Jamil Cruz, three stepsisters Karen Paquette, Judy Smith and Michelle Ventura, two stepbrothers, Louis Kazen and Joseph Kazen, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends including his loyal dog, Blue. He was also a stepbrother of the late David Kazen. Mike enjoyed fishing, playing pool and spending time with his friends. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew & friend. He is loved by everyone and will be greatly missed. We'll all see you in the next life…. Calling hours were held at the Silva-Faria Somerset Funeral Home on Sunday, September 9th.
