Michael A. Wargat, 62, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on March 11, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Arleen Raposa Wargat. Born in Fall River, son of Mary (Martins) Wargat of Benicia, CA and the late Stanley Wargat. Michael was an Alumni of Bristol Community College and Lesley College where he achieved his Bachelor of Science degree. He was employed by Grove House Human Services as an Employment Specialist in Jacksonville, FL and the ARC Black Stone Valley in Rhode Island. Besides his wife and mother, Michael is survived by daughters, Melanie Travassos and Julie Boas; sister, Marie Walsh; grandson, Joey Feno; and nephews, Will Paine, Guy Larrivee, John Paine and Marc Larrivee. He was also father of the late Marsha Wargat Feno and brother of the late Patricia Paine. Following a service and his cremation in Florida, a memorial gathering with a prayer service was held on Sunday, March 25th, at our Fall River Chapel. His ashes were buried at Notre Dame Cemetery.
