Michele L. (Cetola) Griffin, 59, of Fall River, wife of Michael S. Griffin, passed away at home on Friday, September 1, 2017, after a long illness. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Michael and Irene (Cantin) Cetola, she worked as a counselor at People Inc. Among her interests was a love of music. Classical trained in piano and opera, she played piano and guitar, and sang beautifully. She enjoyed spending many evenings playing music at home with her her friends and family.

Besides her husband, she is survived by: two children, Amanda Cabral (husband Adam) of Fall River and Derek Shea of Carolton, TX; a sister, Elizabeth Pietruska of Westport; two grandchildren, Nicolas and Morrighan; and several nieces & nephews. She acted as true friend and second mother to many in her social circle.

Following her cremation, a memorial gathering was held in our Fall River Chapel on Sunday, September 17th.
