Moore Omonira, 70, of Fall River, husband of Cheryl (Wright) Omonira, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, a son of the late Ethiopia and Ketura (Akerele) Omonira, he emigrated to Fall River in 1976. A graduate of SMU (now UMass Dartmouth), he worked as a machine operator for many years at Gold Medal Bakery.

Besides his wife, of 30 years, he leaves: three sons, Moore A Omonira, Micah Omonira and Japheth Omonira all of Fall River; three brothers, Rantimi Omonira, Damilohun Omonira and Imisi Omonira; three grandchildren, Javion, Thea, and Jordan; and several nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, June 7th, during calling hours in our Fall River Chapel. His cremation was private.
