Obituary

Nan Marie Silvia, 73, of Fall River, wife of the late Robert Silvia, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 14, 2022 in the comforts of her home following a long illness. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late James D. Keilty and the late Estelle (McNaughton) Keilty.

Prior to her retirement she worked as a hairdresser for Sandy's Salon for many years. An avid reader, she also loved the beach, shopping, and playing solitaire. She enjoyed traveling to such places as New Hampshire, Cape Cod, Las Vegas, and Florida. But what was most important to Nan was spending quality time with all of her family.

She leaves her loving children, Becky Ann Dubois and her husband, Brian, of Fall River, Matthew James Silvia and his wife, Khara, of Somerset, and Thomas Alfred Silvia and his wife, Shannon Lynn, of Fall River; her grandchildren, Kyle Felix, Jocelyn Felix, Austin Silvia, Tyler Dubois, and Alexis Bettencourt; three great-grandchildren, Luanna, Stella, and Matheo; one brother, David Keilty of Florida; two sisters, Carol Turner of Somerset and Lynn Keilty of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, November 18th, at Christ Church in Swansea followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River, where she was laid to rest alongside of her late husband. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in Nan's memory to: Amedisys Foundation, 3854 American Way, Suite A, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
