Nancy A. Moniz, 69, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Friday, January, 26, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Leo Moniz and Alice (Ferreira) Ponte. She was a hairdresser for many years prior to her retirement. An avid Boston Celtics fan, she also enjoyed cooking, going out to dinner, and her long, daily, telephone conversations with her sister Gail. She leaves: her son, Jonathan Moniz and his wife Judy of Raynham; two grandchildren, Brandon Moniz and Brittany Moniz; a sister, Gail Ward and her husband Bud of Tiverton; a niece, Kristen Sylvia; and a nephew, Ryan Sylvia. Her Memorial Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, January 30th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Her cremation was private.
