Nancy L. Pacheco, 56, of Peckham Rd., New Bedford, formerly of Fall River, died on July 5, 2008 unexpectedly. Beloved wife of Gary Makuch. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Antonio Jacinto & Maria (Furtado) Pacheco. She enjoyed breeding Chow Chows, sports, target shooting & attending concerts and dances. A paraplegic, she was the victim of a drunk driver who hit the motorcycle she was on in 1972. She was sister of Rita Santos, Lydia Rapoza, Edward Pacheco, Altino Pacheco, and the late Alice Lizyk and Alda Santos. She also leaves her brother-in-law, John L. Santos and several nieces and nephews. She was also aunt of the late Linda Santos. Her funeral mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Pallbearers Gary Makuch, Billy Domingos, Dave, Tim and John Santos and Gordon Pacheco brought Nancy to her final resting place at Notre Dame Cemetery.
