Nancy Hamilton Smoliak, 60, of Fall River, passed away Friday, 3/20/09 after a short illness. Born in Edwards, CA, she was the daughter of Viola (Hatfield) Lahey of Manchester, CT., and the late William Lahey, a USAF pilot and flight engineer. She lived in Fall River most of her life. Besides her mother, she is survived by a brother, Robert Lahey of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and a sister, Kimberly Perroziello of Manchester, CT. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to The American Cancer Society. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a Committal Service to be held Monday at 12:00 pm in Oak Grove Cemetery. There are no calling hours or other services at Silva-Faria Funeral Home, with whom arrangements were made.
