Natalia Batista, 91, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Sunday, surrounded by her family at Crawford Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Antone Batista. Born in St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Jose de Ponte and Maria (Violante) Machado. Survivors include her children, Eulalia Cura and Liberal Batista, both of Fall River; daughters-in-law, Niveria Batista and Georgina Batista; grandchildren, Joseph Batista, Elizabeth Caetano, Patricia Cura, Stephanie Ferreira and Chanel Cardoso; great grandchildren, Shane, Tristen, Camron, Madison, Ethan and Dylan; and several nieces and nephews. She was also mother of the late Jose Joaquim Batista. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, March 27th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
