Natalia C. Pavao, 96, of Westport, formerly of Fall River, wife of the late Augusto Pavao, passed away at home on Friday, February 22, 2019. Born in Ajuda, Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Tavares) Miranda. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a seamstress in the local textile industry. A devout Catholic, she was a parishioner of Espírito Santo Church and attended mass daily. Natalia loved gardening and spending quality time with her loving family. In her younger years, she very much enjoyed traveling with her husband to such places as Brazil, California, Canada, and the Azores. She leaves: her children, Lucy Borges and her husband, Eduardo, Antonio L. Pavao and his wife, Fatima, Dinis A. Pavao and his wife, Donna, David L. Pavao and his wife, Adriane, all of Fall River, and Jose E. Pavao and his wife, Goreti, of Westport; her daughter-in-law, Alda Pavao; her son-in-law, Manuel DaRosa; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mariana DeSousa and her husband, Guilherme, of Canada; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Jorge M. Pavao and Maria Helena DaRosa and sister of the late Manuel, Jose, and Antonio Miranda, Sara Viveiros, and Maria Viveiros. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, February 27th, in Espírito Santo Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
