Nathan W. Taylor, 48, husband of Stacy Taylor, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Born in Fall River, he was the son of William and Sheila Taylor of Somerset where he resided for most of his life.
He graduated from Somerset High School in 1996 where he had a storied career in ice hockey. Captain of their hockey team in his junior and senior years, he went on to become the all-time leading scorer in Somerset history. A record he still holds.
After earning his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management at Bentley University, Nate went on to work in the financial field in the Boston area for several years.
He had a passion for sports and fantasy football and was a big animal lover.
In addition to his wife and parents, Nate is survived by his son, Noah Taylor, SPC, National Guard; his brother, Jonathan Taylor (wife-Sarah); nephews, Dylan and Brennan; nieces; Alexandra and Ava; and his uncle, Douglas Harmon. He was also nephew of the late Carol Pizio and son-in-law of the late Susan Charest.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Friday, August 7th, at the Silva-Faria Somerset Funeral Home, 84 County St. (Rte 138) in Somerset , from 9:00 to 11:00 AM followed by His Memorial Service at 11.
