Obituary

Neil R. Robinson, 62, of Fall River, husband of Jacqueline (Dupuis) Robinson, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 13, 2022 following a brief illness. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Edward C. Robinson and the late Jo-Anne M. (Griffin) Robinson.

An avid collector of militaria, toy soldiers, baseball cards and coins, Neil also loved jeeps and muscle cars, especially his 1966 red Mustang coupe. He cherished camping in Plymouth and, most importantly, spending quality time with all of his friends and family. Fondly known as Papa by his grandchildren, Neil was the type of man who would give the shirt off his back to help others and had an innate ability to see the good in everybody. Selfless, kind, and patient, Neil will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Besides his loving wife of nineteen years, he leaves his children, Lindsay R. Hetzler of Swansea, Patrick E. Robinson and his wife, Patricia, and Troy J. Robinson and his wife, Olivia, both of Fall River; his five grandchildren, Lorelei Hetzler, Evan Hetzler, Zoë Sousa, Conrad Sousa, and Aleister Robinson; his seven siblings, Diana Robinson, Susan Rivet, both of New Bedford, Craig Robinson of Provincetown, Michael Robinson, Eric Robinson, Leslee Eldridge, and Kerri Beliveau, all of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Larry Robinson.

A visitation period was held on Friday, November 18th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by a private cremation.
