Nicholas J. Belmore, 60, of Fall River, passed away peacefully at St. Anne's Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Edward J. and Emyra (Marchio) Belmore. He worked as an assembler for Igus Manufacturing before his illness. A true outdoorsman, he loved heading up to New Hampshire for fishing, bird watching and hiking. Nicholas also enjoyed collecting coins, gemstones and listening to music. A family-man with a huge "heart of gold", Nicholas was also kind, whitty, and funny. He leaves: his son, Nicholas E. Belmore and his fiancé, Melissa, of Swansea; his brother, Edward J. Belmore and his wife Victoria of Somerset; one nephew, Zachary Belmore; and one niece, Paige Belmore. Following his cremation, a Memorial Gathering was held on Thursday, April 25th, in our Fall River Chapel. His cremains were buried in the family lot at Oak Grove Cemetery.
