Nicole Lynne Brophy, 26, passed away at UMass Medical Center in Worcester on Sunday, March 3, 2019 surrounded by her family and friends. Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, she was a daughter of Karen Ann (Whitman) Brophy of Cranston, Rhode Island and the late Robert Raymond Brophy. She was a 2010 graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School where she earned her Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate. She loved cooking, going on long rides, and listening to music. Nicole also enjoyed singing, dancing, and simply being together with her family, especially her son, Nicolahs, who was her world. Besides her mother, she leaves: her son, Nicolahs; her twin sister, Jessica Ann Brophy of Fall River, and her sister, Amanda Lee Brophy of Rhode Island; a brother, Robert Kenneth Knight of Rhode Island; her paternal grandmother, Patricia Brophy; her nieces, Aubree Faith Fields and Adriana Rose Toupin; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was also the granddaughter of the late Warren and Carol Whitman and the late James Brophy. Her arrangements were private.
