Norma A. Stinziano, 89, of Methuen, formerly of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at High Pointe House, a Merrimack Valley Hospice in Haverhill, MA. Born and raised in Fall River, a daughter of the late Michael Stinziano and the late Jeannette (Sapienza) Stinziano, she lived most of her life on North Main Street in Fall River.

Prior to her retirement in the early 1990s, Norma was employed in the garment industry for over 33 years, working at various local area companies such as K & G Dress, Serval Mfg, and Beacon Garment. She was also a lifetime member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union (ILGWU), which is now called UNITE.

Norma was a kind, generous and loving person who was everyone's Auntie! She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was a beloved Aunt of Patricia Earnest and her husband Rick, Joanne Powell and her husband Reece, and Darlene Sassman; and a Great Aunt of Morgan Earnest, Hannah Powell, Sophie Powell, and Erika Sassman. She also leaves her dear brother-in-law, Humbert M. Lopes and his wife Shirley, and longtime close friends of 50+ years, Deloris Almeida, and Lori & Tony Pereira and family. Norma was predeceased by her much beloved siblings, Pasquale Stinziano, Helen Lopes, and Margaret Rioux.

Norma's family would like to thank her wonderful friends and staff at the Grace Morgan House, Methuen, where she enjoyed living for the last five and one-half years.

Her Funeral Service was held on Monday, December 17th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
