Octave J. Leite "OJ" of Westport, passed away at his residence after a battle with cancer at the age of 70. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Ferreira) Leite.  OJ was born in Fall River and was the son of the late Joseph Leite and the late Isabel (Couto) Leite. Octave was employed by the local bowling alleys, first in Somerset and then in Westport. Not only was he employed by the bowling alleys, he was an avid bowler as well. He competed in their perspective leagues. Joe was also a member of the Army National Guard. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, December 12th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal with military honors at St. Patrick Cemetery.
