Octavio M. Sousa, of Fall River, husband of Helen (Amaral) Sousa, passed away in Boston on March 20, 2018 at the age of fifty eight. Octavio was born in Fenais da Luz, and was a son of the late Joao and the late Maria Odilia (Branco) Sousa. He was employed at McCourt Construction for 34 years, where he earned the superintendents position.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by: his children, Kevin Sousa of Providence, Bethany Cabral and her husband Eddy of Fall River and Brittany Amaral Fall River; siblings, Eulalia Antunes of Fall River and Jose Sousa of Fall River and his grandson, William; and his dear friends, Carlos Monte of Tiverton and Virgil Silvia of Rehoboth.  He leaves behind his beloved dog Hendrix. He was the brother of the late Joao Sousa.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, March 24th, in Santo Christo Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
