Octavio F. Medeiros, 63, of Fall River, passed away Monday after a short illness. Husband of Georgina Medeiros. Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Jose Medeiros and Mariana Furtado Almeida. He was a foreman at Capeway Roofing where he was known as "MacGyver". Besides his wife of 38 years, he was the beloved father of Bobby Medeiros (wife-Nancy) and Kimberly Medeiros; grandfather of Shyla Teixeira and brother of Jose Fernandes, Antonio, Evaristo and Messias Medeiros, Alda Miranda, Leonor Ferreira and Angelina Ponte. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and godchildren. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, November 19, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his entombment at Notre Dame Mausoleum.
