Octavio Oliveira, 81, of Fall River, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at St. Anne’s Hospital. Born in Santo Antonio, Ponte Delgada, St. Michael, Azores. Octavio was a son of the late Joao Guilhermo Oliveira and the late Rosa (Gonsalves) Oliveira.

Octavio loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his siblings: Agnelo Oliveira, of Berkley, Antero Oliveira, of Florida, Armando Oliveira, of Assonet, Russ Oliveira, of N. Dartmouth, Laura Viveiros, of Fall River, Lidia Oliveira, of Fall River, Matilde Oliveira, of Somerset, and Emma Fournier, of Berkley; and many nieces and nephews. Octavio was predeceased by his siblings Joao, Gilberto, William and Alvaro.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Visitation to be held in Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, Fall River, on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am.

His Funeral will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. from Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church. Committal and Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
