Odelia C. Reimer, 99, of Fall River, widow of Dale Reimer, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Tavares) Carvalho. She was a clerk at Newport Naval Base for many years before retiring and moving to California where she made her home for the next twenty-eight years. She enjoyed her trips to the casino, where she would play "blackjack" and the "slots". Aunt "Dee", as she was referred to, also traveled extensively to such places as Spain, Mexico, Portugal, and Egypt. Most important to Odelia was her family who she very much loved. She leaves her brother, William Carvalho and his wife Sally of Fall River; and many loving nieces and nephews, including Pauline Silvia, Joseph Carvalho, and Irene Mello who cared for her in her last years. She was also the sister of the late Deolinda Pereira, Mary Carvalho, Elsie Fitzimmons, Elson Carvalho, Manuel Carvalho, Joseph Carvalho, and Hilda Silvia. In keeping with her wishes, Dee's services were private.
