Odete de Oliveira, 82, of Fall River, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Catholic Memorial Home. Born in St. Michael, Azores, the daughter of the late Joao Oliveira and the late Maria (Ferreira) Oliveira, she emigrated to Fall River in 1968. She worked in the local textile industry for many years, with the former Fall River Knitting Mills, retiring in 1991.

In addition to a brother, Manuel de Oliveira of Fall River, Odete is survived by her longtime close friend, Natalie Maciel of Fall River, and a godchild (Natalie's grandson), Devin Furtado, who was the love of Odete's life. She was also the sister of the late Edumundo de Oliveira and Jose de Oliveira.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, November 26th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery both in Fall River.
