Oliver Manuel Cunha, 67, of Fall River, husband of Jocelyn (Hamel) Cunha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 in the comforts of his home following a brief illness. Born in Terceira, Azores, he was a son of the late Antonio Cunha and the late Maria (Goulart) Cunha.

Prior to his retirement he worked at Brayton Point Power Plant as a Hoist Operator for many years. He loved the ocean, fishing, sailing, swimming, and scuba diving. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed cooking and gardening, tending particular attention to his many varieties of rose bushes.

Besides his loving wife of forty-seven years, Ollie leaves his two daughters, Lauren Braga and her husband, Matthew, of Dighton, and Lisa Cunha and her long-time companion, Luis Seueira, of Fall River; his two grandchildren, Nathan Braga and Corinne Braga; one sister, Laura Cabeceiras of Fall River; his brother, Antonio Cunha and his wife, Sheila, of Westport; and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral arrangements were private.
