Olivia B. Mello, 82, formerly of Second St., Somerset, died Saturday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Widow of Louis I. Mello, Sr. Born in Westport, daughter of the late Louis B. and Mary (Camara) Souza. She worked in the cafeteria at Somerset South School for 15 years where she was known as "Miss Olive". She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and drives through Colt Park. Mother of Louis Mello, Jr. (wife-Susan) and Janis M. Almeida (husband-Kenneth, Sr.) all of Somerset; sister of Rita Leite of Somerset and the late Alfred and Louis (Buzzy) Souza, Alice and Mary Vieira. Grandmother of Kelli Bienvenue and Kenneth Almeida, Jr. Great grandmother of Mitchell Bienvenue. Also leaves several nieces and nephews. Funeral Wednesday, August 8, in St. John of God Church. Interment Nathan Slade Cemetery.
