Pamela J. Simmons, 71, of Warren, Rhode Island, wife of Norman Simmons, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Vibra Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Silvino Ferreira and the late Ruth (Borge) Medeiros.

Prior to her retirement she was a Sales Associate for Sears for many years. Pam was an avid New England Patriots fan who never missed a game, and Tom Brady was her favorite player. She also loved to cook, especially the favorite Portuguese dishes that her family had loved for years. She enjoyed gardening and occasional trips to the casino.

Besides her husband of forty years, she leaves her loving children, Jay Rose of Swansea, Lisa Comolli and her husband, Doug, of Somerset, and Dawn Francoeur and her husband, Ron, of Westport; her six grandchildren, Jared Rose (his wife, Stephanie), Scott Sylvia, Jennifer Sylvia, Adam Francoeur (his wife, Mihaela), Ashley Francoeur, and Emily Quinn; one great-grandchild, McKensie Rego; her sister, Susan Sawyer and her husband, Greg, of Maine; one brother, Jeffrey Ferreira and his wife, Judith, of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Following a private cremation, Her Memorial Service was held on Friday, January 6th, during a visitation period in our Fall River Chapel.
