Patricia A. Hodgate, 66, of Swansea, wife of Charles R. Hodgate, passed away at home on Thursday, December 5, 2024. She was born in Fall River and was the daughter of the late William J. Bowers and the late Marguerite C. (Smith) Bowers. Patti resided in Swansea for the past 35 years.

A Macy's fashion consultant for many years, Patricia also worked for Webster Bank and as a hairdresser with various salons. She loved long walks, jeep rides with the top down, gardening, her dog, music, and listening to her husband play guitar. Patti was a member of the Swansea Country Club pool club and she also enjoyed going to the beach. Patti especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Besides her husband of 37 years, she is survived by: two children, Brice M. Hodgate and Dylan B. Hodgate both of Swansea; three siblings, William J. Bowers, Jr. of Fall River, Timothy Bowers of Somerset, and Kenneth Bowers of Pocasset, MA; two grandchildren, Mya Allard and Charley Allard; and many nieces and nephews. Patricia was also the mother of the late Tavis W. Hodgate.

Her Funeral Service was held on Monday, December 9th, in our Somerset Chapel. A private cremation followed.
