Patricia "Grace" Vaillancourt, 73, of Tiverton, wife of Robert E. Vaillancourt, passed away peacefully on Sunday after a long illness. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Gil and Mary (Cabral) Rodrigues. Prior to her illness, she worked as a presser in the local textile industry. Patricia loved going for rides and dining out with her devoted husband. She also very much enjoyed her frequent visits with her niece, Susie. But most important to her was spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren. Besides her husband of fifty-two years, she leaves: her son, Wayne R. Vaillancourt and his wife Allison of Tiverton; two grandchildren, Jake and Jaimi Vaillancourt; two sisters, Mary Felix (late-husband Joseph) of Fall River and Edeline Aguiar (late-husband John) of Tiverton; two brothers, Gil Rodrigues (late-wife Florence) and Joseph Rodrigues (wife Margaret) of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the grandmother of the late Jason Vaillancourt and sister of the late Anne Teixeira, Julia Del-Toro, Alice Bigelow, and Cecelia Materia. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, December 28th, in St. Christopher's Church followed by her committal at Pocasset Hill Cemetery both in Tiverton.
