Paul Bernardo, of Fall River, husband of Etelvina (Aguiar) Bernardo, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Agua Retorta, St. Michael, Azores, a son of the late Jose and Conceicao (Lima) Bernardo. He was employed by MON Landscaping in Dartmouth as a supervisor and was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church. In his younger years he was an altar server and also taught CCD for over ten years. Besides his wife of ten years, he is survived by: 4 children, Reinaldo Pereira and his wife Susana Ribeiro of Fall River, Carolina Roias of St. Michael, Carlos Roias of Fall River and Goncalo Roias of Fall River; 3 siblings, Celeste Reis and her husband Manuel of Fall River, Claudia Carreiro and her husband Antonio Botelho of North Dartmouth, and Vinny Tabicas and her husband Joseph of North Dartmouth; a sister in law Alda Lima of Fall River;  1 grandchild, Lara Perreira ; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Manuel Lima. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, March 2nd, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
