Paul J. Blackburn, 62, of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 after a short illness at Charlton Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving wife, Diane M. (Cordeiro) Blackburn, daughters and family. Born in Fall River, a son of the late John E. and Clara (Ainsworth) Blackburn, he was an HVAC technician for many years.

A multi-talented, hard-working craftsman, he gladly tackled home improvement projects, but especially enjoyed going on vacation to New Hampshire with his family. Paul was a wonderful husband and father, and his daughters were the pride-and-joy loves of his life. And he was their hero.

Besides his wife, of 28 years, he leaves: twin daughters, Amanda M. Blackburn (significant other, Loren) of Middleboro, MA, and Nicole E. Blackburn (fiancé Christopher) of Lincoln, RI; six siblings, John Blackburn, Carl Blackburn, Jimmy Blackburn, Beverly Frezza, Betty Blackburn, and Carol Blackburn; many nieces & nephews; and two "granddogs" Shelby and Pumpkin. He was also a brother of the late Howie Blackburn and Tommy Blackburn; and brother-in-law of the late Kenny Cabral.

Following cremation, his Memorial Service was held on Friday, January 31st, during a visitation period in our Fall River Chapel.
