Driscoll
d. Sep 6, 2018
Fall River
Paul Leo Driscoll, Jr., 82, of Fall River, former husband of Evelyn (Furtado) Driscoll, passed away peacefully on Thursday after a long illness. Born in Taunton, MA, he was a son of the late Paul Leo Driscoll, Sr., and the late Helen (Tatro) Driscoll. He was the owner and proprietor of Leo's Canteen for many years prior to his retirement. Paul was a very hard worker his entire life. He enjoyed playing Bingo and taking his family to Lincoln Park back in the day. But what he loved most was spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by: his children, William Driscoll (late-wife Elaine) and his fiancé Barbara Bilka of Fall River, Timothy Driscoll and his wife Susan, Karen Perry and her husband Steven of Taunton; his sisters, Theresa Cudworth (late-husband George) of Attleboro, Francis Adams (late-husband Donald) of Taunton, and Gloria Johnson and her husband Stan; five grandchildren, Jessica Perry, Paul Driscoll, Justin Hebert, Alexis Perry, and Jennifer Hebert; nine great- grandchildren, Hannah Driscoll, Zachary Perry-Driscoll, Conner Perry-Driscoll, Logan Perry-Driscoll, Jaxson Perry-Driscoll, Declan Perry-Driscoll, Brayden Perry-Driscoll, Nicholas Perry-Driscoll, and Mya Driscoll; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Catherine Gillette and brother of the late Richard Driscoll and Alice Slocom. Calling hours were held on Tuesday, September 11th, in our Somerset Chapel. Following his cremation, his cremains were buried with his family at Nathan Slade Cemetery in Somerset.
