Paul M. Pavao, 49, of Westport, husband of Diane C. (Faria) Pavao passed away unexpectedly from a sudden illness on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, the son of Manuel A. Pavao of Fall River and the late Maria Natalia (Pacheco) Pavao, he resided in Westport for the past 16 years.

A laborer in the construction industry for 30 years, member of Union Local 610, and an employee of The Dow Company, Paul was a hard-working individual. He was skilled in his craft and proud to have built the home in which he lived. Paul was an avid fisherman and boater; and he was loved by many.

Besides his wife, and father, he is survived by: two children, Kayla Pavao and Kristen Pavao both of Westport; three sisters, Elizabeth Pavao (fiancé Steven), Sandra Pavao (partner Peter), and Kelly Pavao all of Fall River; five nieces/nephews, Caden, Aliana, Kason, Julien, and Mila; several aunts, uncles & cousins; and many friends.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, August 20th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by a private committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
