Paul J. Pereira, 44, of Fall River, formerly of East Providence, passed away Thursday after a long illness. Born in Terceira, Azores, son of Leonor (Lima) Pereira of Pawtucket and the late Manuel Pereira. A graduate of Central High School in Providence, he currently worked for AMICA Ins. Co. Besides his mother, he is survived by his long time friend, Henry J. Sousa; siblings, John and Peter Pereira and Filomena Branco (husband - Laudelino); several nieces and nephews. His funeral service was held on Monday, February 13, in our Fall River Chapel followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
