Paul T. Cabral, 84, of Fall River, passed away surrounded by family on Monday. He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy (Mathews). Born in Fall River, son of the late Antonio T. and Gloria (Pacheco) Cabral. An Army veteran, he reached the rank of corporal. Co-owner of the former Ventura Pharmacy, Paul was well known for his quick wit and was well liked in the neighborhood, earning him the Herald News award of Mr. Neighborhood Personality. A talented photographer, he was a member of the Fall River Camera Club and enjoyed travel and aviation. Survivors include, children, Paul (wife-Debra), Dorothy and Natalie Cabral (husband-John A. Elliott); beloved granddaughter, Tabitha; sister, Maria Goldberg (husband-Ronald); and sister-in-law, Laudelina Cabral. He was also brother of the late Christina Maggiacomo, Francisco T. and Antonio T. Cabral. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, April 13, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal with military honors at Notre Dame Cemetery.
