Paula A. Miranda, 64, of Swansea and wife of Silvestre Miranda, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in Newport, Rhode Island, she was a daughter of the late Richard Neubauer and the late Dorothy (DeFusco) Brilhante.

Prior to her illness and retirement, she was a retail manager for several businesses in the former Swansea Mall, a position she truly enjoyed.  She loved cooking, interior design, decorating for the holidays, and was very proud of her beautiful, well-kept home. Paula also very much enjoyed traveling with her husband to such places as the Caribbean Islands, Florida, Mexico, and Martha's Vineyard. But most importantly, she relished spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Besides her loving husband of forty-five years, she leaves: her daughter, Farrah Sousa and her husband, Mitchell, of Fall River; her three grandchildren, Evan Miranda, Julianna Sousa, and Evangeline Sousa; one sister, Toni Neubauer of Fall River; one brother, Bobby Neubauer of Oil City, Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Patti Neubauer and the late Richard Neubauer.

Her Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, March 9th, during calling hours in our Fall River Chapel. Her private cremation took place later.
