Pauline (Silva) Moniz, 83, formerly of Somerset, passed away Friday, one week shy of her 84th birthday, at Sarah Brayton Nursing Center. Widow of Louis Moniz, she was born in Fall River, daughter of the late John M. and Anna (Tavares) Silva. She was employed for several years as a clerk at the 2nd District Court in Fall River and prior to that at the former Slade's Ferry Trust Co. in Somerset. Pauline was the beloved sister of John M. Silva, Jr. (wife-Yvonne) of Somerset and the late William T. Silva. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, August 25th, in St John of God Church followed by her committal at Nathan Slade Cemetery.
