Pauline M. Vieira, 78, of Fall River, passed away Thursday after a long illness. Long time companion of Joseph Whipp. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Adelina & Manuel Mello. She was a devoted nurse for 25 years at the former Fall River Nursing Home. She enjoyed ten pin bowling, playing cards, bingo and slots and wintering in Florida. Beloved mother of Shirley Shurtleff, Scott Vieira, Stacey Alves and the late Sandra Rosa; sister of the late Tony Delphin. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in St Anthony of Padua Church. She was laid to rest at St Patrick Cemetery.
