Paulo J. Barbosa, age 51, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012, in Fall River. He was the husband of Suzanne (Downey) Barbosa and the beloved father of Stephen Paul Barbosa, both of Fall River. Born in Ponta Delgada on the island of Sao Miguel in the Azores, he was a son of Eduarda (de Melo) Barbosa of Sao Miguel and the late Manuel Marcelino Barbosa. He also leaves a brother, Emanuel Marcelino, and two sisters, Maria da Fatima, and Maria da Graca Melo Barbosa, all of the Azores, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, March 29, in Espirito Santo Church on Alden Street. His final resting place was in the Azores.
