Paulo F. Matos, 45, of Fall River, husband of Lynn M. (Ferreira) Matos, died Wednesday, November 12, at Rhode Island Hospital from the result of injuries sustained in a work-related accident. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of Jose and Geraldina (Floriano) Matos, both of St. Michael, he was employed for several years with AGI Construction of Smithfield, RI. He enjoyed playing saxophone, having performed with various bands, and was an avid soccer fan. His greatest love was his family. Besides his wife, he leaves: 2 children, Derek and Kristen Matos both of Fall River; 4 siblings, Nelia Carvalho, Jose & Basilio Matos all of St. Michael, and Sonia DaCosta of Fall River; several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on November 20 in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
