Fall River
Paulus R. Albanna, 86, of Fall River, husband of Eilen Rox Mousa, passed away October 12 th , 2017. Born in Kirkuk, Iraq, son of the late Razkallah & Warena (Slewa) Albanna, he emigrated to the U.S. in 2008, first residing in North Dakota, then moving to Fall River in 2011. Having graduated from Hammersmith Polytechnical, London, England, in 1956, he went on to become the head of Geological Surveying for the Iraqi Petroleum Company.
Paulus always enjoyed traveling, and in his retiring years he had owned and operated, with his brothers, a flower import/export business. He was also a member of the Christian Congregation Church of Fall River.
Besides his wife, of 41 years, he is survived by: two daughters, Dahlia Albanna and Donia Albanna both of Fall River; and several nieces and nephews. He was also a brother of the late Katrina, Habeeb, Putrus, Najeeba, Abdulahad, and John Albanna.
His Funeral Service was held on Sunday, October 15th, following calling hours in our Fall River Chapel. He was buried privately at Oak Grove Cemetery.
