Pedro M. Duarte, 54, of Fall River, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, at home peacefully surrounded by his family and friends. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, he was a son of Natalia (Correia) Duarte and the late Gilberto Duarte.

After graduating from BMC Durfee, Pedro began working at a local textile company, Quaker Fabric, but then later became a truck driver for Eastern Ice. Pedro's character spoke for itself—he was very kindhearted; he always knew how to make his loved ones feel special. He had many interests: he loved hockey, especially the Boston Bruins, off roading, dirt biking and dogs. He had a devotion to God and enjoying walking on Good Friday in the Romeiros.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter Jocelyn Machado and her husband Shawn, of Barrington, RI; grandchildren, Alani and Bryson; siblings, Tony Duarte and his wife Connie of Fall River, Maria Bouchard and her husband Steven, of Swansea, Joseph Duarte and his wife Deborah, of North Attelboro, John Duarte and his wife Grace, of Fall River, Filomena Duarte, of Fall River, Gil Duarte and his wife Lisa, of Fall River, Hildeberto (George) Duarte, of Fall River and Lucy Duarte, of Somerset; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Calling Hours to be held in Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, Fall River, on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

His Funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 9:00 am from the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford St, Fall River, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10:00 am. Committal Service and interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
