Peter Urban, 66, of Somerset, husband of Barbara (Laliberte) Urban, passed away on December 26, 2025, at Fall River Jewish Home. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Walter J. Urban and the late Josephine (Rybka) Urban.

Prior to retirement, Peter worked as the Sexton of St. Dominic's Church for 45 years. He was a member of the Church choir, enjoyed his many visits to Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, and Vermont with his family, and loved the beach.

Peter is survived by his wife Barbara of 38 years, brother Matthew Urban of Fall River, sister-in-law Michelle Lamarre of Jewett City, CT (George Lamarre), nephew Jason Lamarre of Coventry, CT (Jennifer Lamarre), great-niece Alyssa Lamarre, and niece Dr. Nicole Lamarre of Albany, NY (Brittni Gulotty).

Following a private cremation, his Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at St. Dominic's Church,1277 Grand Army of the Republic Highway, Swansea, at 10 AM, followed by a committal service at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
