Philip Levesque, 83, of Stafford Rd., Tiverton, passed away Friday after a long illness surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Grace with whom he had shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Fall River, son of the late Thomas and Regilla Levesque. A Korean War veleran, he proudly served with the US Air Force military police. A truck driver and member of the Teamsters for over 50 years, Phil's greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends for whom he always had a joke. Devoted father of six daughters, Diane Booth (Bob), Crystal Brilhante (Thomas), Phyllis Azevedo (Frank), Kathleen Stubbs (Ken), Coleen Silvia (Charles) and Nancy Kubic (Ken); brother of Florilda Talbot, Eugene Levesque, Marion Furtado, Lorraine Valton and the late Tom, George, Edward William and Roland Levesque. He also leaves 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Also many thanks to Bristol County Visiting Nurse & Hospice, especially Rhonda who took such loving care of Phil, along with Athena & Angel who were always there for him. His Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, July 31, in the Amicable Congregational Church in Tiverton followed by his committal with military honors across the street at Hillside Cemetery.
